Botanical Beer and Bonfire Fest, February 2nd

It’s winter, snow is on the ground… time for bonfires at Scratch! Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 2nd for our annual Botanical Beer and Bonfire Festival. This is a celebration of all things wood-fired and herbal. We’ll feature 13 beers brewed over a fire or that showcase the bounty of southern Illinois plants, including 6 stein-brewed beers brewed with granite rocks heated in a blazing wood fire. Fires will be stoked on the patio and we’ll be serving a hot soup special all day: borscht with our garden-grown beets and your choice of hearth bread (vegetarian/vegan and sausage varieties will both be available). Unlike in years past, this will not be a ticketed event. Just come enjoy a taproom full of special beers, food, and warm conversation. Our full food menu will also be available.
